Street Feast 2016 internship positions available

Street Feast 2016 takes place on Sunday 12th June. We’re really excited about this year’s celebration as it really looks like it’s going to be something special. We’re expecting 100,000 people to take to their streets to share food with their neighbours – that’s loads of new connections, serious amounts of bunting, infinite balloons, and a wonderful result of lots of happy neighbours! And this year we’re working in partnership with some amazing organisations; The Centenary Programme, An Post, Facebook and Scouting Ireland, for example.

Street Feast is coordinated and run completely voluntarily by a dedicated team of experienced event organisers. Each year we look for some enthusiastic people to join the team to bring their experience, new ideas, renewed energy and vision to the table. In return we offer a great opportunity & the experience to develop a straightforward & achievable nationwide campaign and the chance to work with a great team.

Street Feast is a day of local lunches across Ireland hosted by you and your neighbours. They can be anywhere really - out on the street, in a local park or in your front garden.

There are lots of good reasons to have a Street Feast, but it's really just a great excuse to eat great food, celebrate your local community and meet new people who live near you.
